Located at 719 SW Van Buren, across from the state capitol, the Historic Fire Station No. 2 is a Topeka landmark that is listed on the state and national Registers of Historic Places. The Weary Education Center, the largest of the three rooms, can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests for a banquet or reception, or 80 for a classroom-style meeting. The Michaud Board Room and the Shamberg Johnson Bergman Conference Room are perfect for smaller gatherings. Each room offers wireless internet access, and guests may use our onsite catering kitchen, including an ice maker, coffee maker, and steam table. All three rooms are available at very affordable rates for weekday, evening or weekend activities.
Historic Fire Station No. 2 was purchased from the Legacy of Justice Foundation by Treanor Architects, P.A., who now own and operate the meeting and event space within the building.
