If you are looking for a convenient, stylish location in downtown Topeka for your next business meeting or social event, consider the facilities at the Historic Fire Station No. 2, owned and operated by the Legacy of Justice Foundation.  The versatile Historic Fire Station No. 2 is the perfect event facility for meetings, wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners, depositions, luncheons, and much more.


Located at 719 SW Van Buren, across from the state capitol, the Historic Fire Station No. 2 is a Topeka landmark that is listed on the state and national Registers of Historic Places. The Weary Education Center, the largest of the three rooms, can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests for a banquet, 80 for a classroom-style meeting, or more than 200 guests for a standing reception. The Michaud Board Room and the Shamberg Johnson Bergman Conference Room are perfect for smaller gatherings. Each room offers wireless Internet access, and guests may use our onsite kitchen and steam table. All three rooms are available at very affordable rates for weekday, evening or weekend activities.
